NEW FOR 2011 MOUNTED FANCY DRESS CLASS 56

ALL CLASSES FOR HORSES ARE OPEN, EXCEPT WHERE SPECIALLY RESTRICTED NO LINGING ALLOWED

NO HORSES TO BE LEFT IN TRAILERS / WAGONS UNSUPERVISED

AGRICULTURAL HORSES

1     BROOD MARE with foal at foot
2     COLT or FILLY FOAL
3     YEARLING COLT, GELDING or FILLY.
4     TWO YEAR OLD COLT, GELDING or FILLY.
5     COLT, MARE or GELDING, 3 years old and upwards
6     PAIR OF AGRICULUTURAL HORSES shown in hand

CLEVELAND BAYS

7     PART BRED CLEVELAND BAY, 1,2 & 3 yrs old, all animals must be registered on the Cleveland Bay Part Bred Register.
8     PURE BRED CLEVELAND BROOD MARE, with or without Foal at foot
9     PURE BRED CLEVELAND BAY COLT or FILLY FOAL
10 PURE BRED CLEVELAND BAY, 1, 2 or 3 years old
11   CLEVELAND BAY PURE and PART BRED 4yrs old & over Ridden in ther Ring.     This class will be in the Main Ring following Hunter Riding Classes.

PONY BREEDING

12     BROOD MARE, with own foal at foot or stainted, not exceeding 148cm 4 years old and over. Foals to be at least three weeks old at date of Show.
13     COLT or FILLY FOAL progeny of Mare in Class 12
14     ONE, TWO or THREE YEAR OLD COLT GELDING or FILLY calculated to make a riding pony not more than 148cm when fully grown.
15     ONE, TWO or THREE YEAR OLD COLT GELDING or FILLY calculated to make a WHP type not exceeding 153cm at maturity.

PONY RIDING

16     THE LEAD REIN PONY, Mare or Gelding, 4 yrs old and over not exceeding 122cm Riders not have attainded their 7th Birthday before 1st January in the current year.
17     BSPS MIXED HEIGHT OPEN SHOW HUNTER PONY Mare of Gelding 4 yrs old not exceeding 153cm Riders to be the correct age for the height on the pony they ride
18     BEST COMBINATION Mare or Gelding, 4 yrs old and over not exceeding 153cm Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year and to be the correct age for the height on the pony they ride
19     BEST RIDER, boy or girl, not having attainded the age of 16 years on the 1st of January in the current year, and to be resident within the limits of the Cleveland, Hurworth or Bilsdale Hunts. Lead rein not permitted.

COLOURED CLASS

20 The CHAPS (UK) Open Youngstock Qualifier 1, 2 or 3 year olds; No Foals
21 The CHAPS (UK) Open In-hand qualifier, any height, any age, no foals

22 The CHAPS (UK) Non-native open ridden qualifier class
23 The CHAPS (UK) Native/Cob/Traditional Open Ridden Qualifier, any height

REGISTERED WELSH PONIES

24     WELSH SECTION A, Young Stock 1,2 or 3 years old
25     WELSH SECTION A, 4 years old and over.
26     WELSH SECTION B, Young Stock 1,2 or 3 years old
27     WELSH SECTION B, 4 years old and over
28     WELSH SECTION C or D, Young Stock, 1,2 or 3 years old.
29     WELSH SECTION C or D, 4 years old and over.

MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND PONIES

30     LARGE BREEDS (Fell, Dales, Highland, Connemara, New Forest excluding Welsh) yearling, two or three year old, colt, filly or gelding in hand
31     LARGE BREEDS (Fell, Dales, Connemara, New Forest excluding Welsh) Stallion, Mare or Gelding four years old or over in hand
32     SMALL BREEDS, (Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, excluding Welsh) Colt, Filly or Gelding one, two or three year old
33     SMALL BREEDS (Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, excluding Welsh) Colt, Filly or Gelding four year old and over
34     LEAD REIN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND PONY, Small Breeds
35     RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND PONY, Small breeds, excluding Lead Rein.
36     RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND PONY, Large Breeds

WORKING HUNTER PONIES / HORSES

37     MIXED HEIGHT RESTRICTED WHP/WH. Mare or Gelding 4 years old or over not exceeding 158cm (Height to be stated on Entry Form)
38     THE BSP NURSERY STAKES. Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 133cm Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
39     THE BSPS Heritage Mountain & Moorland open WHP, mixed height. Registered Pure Bred Ponies 4 Years old or over. Riders any age. Ponies must jump in their correct height section. The 1st Prize winner in class 39 will qualify for the BSPS David Manning CH of CHS
40     NOVICE HORSE WORKING HUNTER over 153cm 4 years old and over to to have won a first prize of £30 or a total of £100 in prize money in any WH class

HUNTERS - BREEDING

41     SMALL HUNTER BROOD MARE, exceeding 148cm.but not exceeding 158cm with own Foal at foot, the Foal to be shown with the Mare.
42     FOAL out of Mare in Class 41. A Colt, Gelding or Filly, foaled in current year. Foals to be at least 3 weeks old on day of show.
43     BROOD MARE, over 158cm with own Foal at foot, the Foal to be shown with the Mare.
44     FOAL out of Mare in Class 43. A Colt, Gelding or Filly, foaled in current year. Foals to be at least 3 weeks old on day of show.
45     YEARLING COLT GELDING or FILLY foaled in 2009
46     TWO YEAR OLD GELDING or FILLY foaled in 2008
47     THREE YEAR OLD GELDING or FILLY foaled in 2007

HUNTERS - RIDDEN

48     NOVICE HUNTER, Mare or Gelding, to be ridden in the ring. 4 years old and over.
49     SMALL HUNTER MARE or GELDING, 4 YEARS OLD OR OVER, exceeding 14.2 h.h. but not exceeding 15.2 h.h.
50     HUNTER, Mare or Gelding, from Four-Years-Old upwards

DRIVING TURNOUT

SHOW JUMPING - BSJA

54 JUMPING (OPEN) COMPETITION 130 under rule '306' Speed 375 metres per minute. Fence height 130cm. For registered horses.

FANCY DRESS

56 Mounted fancy dress riders to be wearing a regulation safety riding hat. All poinies to have a handler as well as a rider
