ENTERTAINMENT

Moto-Stunts International

A spectacular non-stop, unique, continuous, high speed display using Suzuki Trucks, Quads and Motorcycles.

MSI is a long extablished stunt display team formed in 1977 by three ex-army motor cycle display riders.  The team is in great demand performign at shows throughout the UK constantly introducing new ideas and tricks for the jeeps and motorcycles.  They have appeared on various TV programmes, Game For A Laugh, You Bet, Scrapheap Challenge (Wheelie Cars) and stunts were used on a recent Jeremy Clarkson DVD Thriller.  Team riders have performed stunts and jumps on an advertising film for BBC3 which included top man johnny Vegas.

MSI will give 2 x 30 minutes of continuous, professional action entertainment timed for 1pm and 2.30pm in the Main Ring.

The Main Ring will also feature the Cleveland and Hurworth Foxhounds and Stokesley Farmers' Beagles and the special parade of Vintage Tractors giving a taste of the early days of mechanised farming.

 

MUSICAL ATTRACTIONS DURING THE DAY

Our band this year is the Kirkbymoorside Brass Band.  A band with tremendous histiry dating back to 1815 when it spent £22 18s on instruments.  It has progressed through the ranks of banding to reach teh Championship Section and more than holds its own in the North of England Competition held annually in March at the Darlington Dolphin Centre.  It has a thirving Junior Section which will hopefully assure the band of reaching 200 years of making music in Kirkbymoorside.
 
The Band will be playing 10-11.30am, 1.30-3pm and 4-5pm.
 
During the intervals Richard Preston's Gavioli Organ will be playing accompanied by the Pauline Reader Can-Can Girls.

 

7am GATES OPEN for stock, trade stands and all other exhibitors - 7.30am TRADE STAND ENTRIES CLOSED
8.30am PUBLIC ADMITTED to the Show Ground on payment of £8 each, children of school age and O.A.P. £5 Family entrance 2 adults and 2 children £20.  Members free by ticket. CAR PARKING Free
9.30am ALL TENTS CLOSED FOR JUDGING except Rabbits & Cavies, open all day
10am JUDGING TO COMMENCE in all marquees. For livestock see above timetable
12noon DOG SHOW entries now being taken at the Dog Ring
1pm DOG SHOW commences
4.30pm Marquees closed for exhibits to be removed

Giving a taste of nostalgia will be the Vintage Section with its Stationary Engines and over fifty vintage tractors.
