‘FarlaVale Gundogs - A creative approach to producing a complete modern day Gundog.’ - see Ring timetable for show times
FarlaVale Gundogs is a family run business with an appreciation for all breeds of gundog. Ryan Kay has been involved with gundogs since a child and was brought up working his father’s Labradors and Cockers on a small shoot in North Yorkshire. He is now based in a small hamlet on the outskirts of York. He believes in a flexible and creative approach to all their gundogs and also for those dogs that come to them for one to one training. Many handlers arrive with a problem to be solved and one which may require different methodology. Enjoy his skill as he works his dogs at the show.

Hammonds Saltaire Band
Founded in 1855 as the Saltaire Band by Sir Titus Salt as one of the amenities for the workers at his recently opened mill. Later the band had a long association with Hammonds Sauce Works under the baton of the legendary Geoffrey Whitham. It is from these two parts of our past that they now perform under their current name, Hammonds Band, under the direction of Morgan Griffiths. We can't wait to hear them in the Bandstand!
Creating amazing sculptures from a range of different kinds of wood, see them at work at this year's show.
A great favourite with young and old alike as they get to take the controls of a proper, full-size Komatsu PC14 and try to knock over the skittles with the mini wrecking ball.
New for 2022, we are planning to bring a range of professional chefs to Stokesley Show this year to showcase their culinary talents. Firstly, we welcome award-winning Whitby Seafood Ambassador - Rob Green. (As seen at Stokesley FoodFest in 2019) More names to follow!
Simon Whitehead - Pakefield Ferrets
Thirty minutes of education, amusing action-packed unscripted drama that blossoms as he regales the ferrets’ journey. Often copied but never bettered, this demonstration by a team who earn their living “rabbiting” is an unequalled demonstration amongst the arena events across the UK. They definitely put the “ferret” back into ferreting.
